DevSecOps Engineer - Azure Specific

About the position
We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Terraform, and Helm. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining cloud-native infrastructure and deployment pipelines using GitOps practices and modern DevOps tooling. This is a hands-on technical role that works closely with developers to ensure scalable, reliable, and automated delivery pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure on Azure, with a focus on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Define and manage infrastructure using Terraform as Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Package and manage Kubernetes applications using Helm.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions/Workflows.
- Deploy and manage applications using ArgoCD and GitOps practices.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to automate deployment, testing, and monitoring workflows.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues in production environments.
- Contribute to improving infrastructure reliability, scalability, and security.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure, including networking, identity, and compute services.
- 1+ years of experience with containers and container orchestration/management tools (Vanilla Kubernetes, AKS, Docker, ArgoCD, etc).
- Experience with IaC/CCA solutions (Ansible, Terraform - Must).
- Security related certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker - CEH, ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity - CC, etc) - advantage.
- Previous experience of integrating code scanning tools and libraries into development projects, contributing to DevSecOps workflows (SAST, SCA, IAST, container scanning, infrastructure as code scanning) - advantage.
- Ability to participate in Security Design Reviews, assessing network architecture, encryption, and authentication protocols.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (JS/Python/Go). Experience in conducting code reviews.
